The user may contract a MAPFRE ASISTENCIA National Travel Assistance program with the application of these Special Conditions in the event of a Covid-19 and/or SARS-CoV-2 event solely and exclusively in the event that the Voucher Holder himself is affected by this event. MAPFRE ASISTENCIA, so that everything contained in these Special Conditions are non-transferable to third parties other than the aforementioned Holder.
An age limit for the user of up to 64 years and 364 days will be applicable, counted at the time of contracting the respective National Travel Assistance program with VisitChile.cl and MAPFRE ASISTENCIA.

TEMPORARY VALIDITY PERIOD:
These Special Conditions before an event
Covid-19 and/or SARS-CoV-2 suffered by the user will be valid for up to 30 calendar days, counted from the effective date of the MAPFRE ASISTENCIA voucher, regardless of whether the total number of days actually contracted and registered in the user’s assistance voucher were more than 30 calendar days. Everything not indicated by this number will be governed by the provisions of the Temporary Validity section of the General Conditions of Travel Assistance.
TRANSFER IN CASE OF SUFFERING FROM A COVID-19 AND/OR SARS-COV-2 EVENT:
Coordination and management of the transport service for the transfer of the MAPFRE ASISTENCIA National Travel Assistance user, even in those cases in which the user’s condition requires their transfer under medical surveillance, either by ambulance or in the means of transport that the professional in charge deems most appropriate according to the circumstances of the case, to the nearest and most suitable hospital center (hospital, clinic, post, etc.) as well as the subsequent transfer back to the hotel or establishment of
contracted accommodation in which the user has been staying during the course of the trip within national territory, in the event that the Assistance Program in
National Trip MAPFRE ASISTENCIA will continue to be valid on the date of registration of the user. In any case, the medical team of the Assistance Center will maintain the necessary contacts with the hospital in question or with the doctor in charge, in order to supervise that the transport and transfer of the user is adequate. It is recorded that the described benefit will be applicable provided that the event occurred during the course of the trip within national territory and was as a result of the detection of Covid-19 and/or SARS-CoV-2 through a clear, acute and duly accredited diagnosis. with RT-PCR test or similar to it in terms of specificity and sensitivity in detection. Regarding transfers that depend on other circumstances or conditions, their origin will be determined in accordance with the provisions of the General Conditions of MAPFRE ASISTENCIA Travel Assistance and whether it is included in the specific National Travel Assistance program contracted by the user.

EXCLUSION OF HOTEL EXPENSES:
MAPFRE ASISTENCIA will not be responsible for the hotel expenses incurred by the user, when these expenses are related to, are a consequence of, due to, for the reason or occasion of preventive or mandatory quarantines imposed in the place of destination with respect to which the user user had scheduled his trip, as well as those expenses incurred due to mobility restrictions either at the place of origin or destination. Regarding hotel expenses for convalescence or other causes, their origin will be determined in accordance with the General Conditions of MAPFRE ASISTENCIA Travel Assistance and if it is included in the specific National Travel Assistance program contracted by the user.

REPATRIATION OF MORTAL REMAINS:
In the event of the death of the Holder of the Travel Assistance voucher for which the cause of death due to COVID-19 and/or SAS-CoV-2 is accredited, the origin of the reference benefit will depend exclusively on the protocols of corpses, transfer of remains and repatriation issued by the competent local Health Authority of the place where the permanent domicile of the latter is located in Chile.
